General Information EMS Update 2021 is scheduled to be held March 25-27, 2020. We are proud to have Western Regional EMS Inc. as the sponsor and producer of this event. WREMS is a non-profit organization devoted to sponsoring educational activities on behalf of EMS West. Every class counts toward continuing education requirements for EMRs, EMTs, AEMTs, Paramedics, PHRNs, PPHEs and PHPs as defined by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services. Continuing education credits also may be applied to EMS certifications from other states. Check with your state agency. |
Registration for EMS Update 2021 will be available beginning March 1, 2021 and may be limited.
The EMS West Board of Directors chose to have a committee develop the educational programming for EMS Update 2021. Committee members include: Douglas Garretson, Robbin Cessna, Paul Colligan, Miles Darby, Diane Fitzhenry, Nora Helfrich, Chris Hendershot, Richard Kaufman, Jonathan Madaras, Thomas McElree, Gregory Porter, Rodney Rohrer and Dr. Richard Wadas.
Class schedules and faculty are subject to change.
WREMS does not permit auditing of classes.
Tuition for EMS Update 2021 will include continuing education credit where approved and class materials.
EMS West has applied for the maximum continuing education credits from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.
